Well as a balding adult and obviously not happy with the way I looked, I undertook some research regarding the options and clinics available to me. I spoke to several guys who got the procedure carried out at various locations, but the stand out clinic and best results was the Clinicana clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. After a few messages with Mr. Mulham, he went through my options, the procedure, time frame and of course cost. I decided to take the plunge and give it a try. I found the procedure surprisingly easy. A little pain with the initial injections but apart from that it was fine. However, I did speak to other guys who found it painful, so I guess it’s down to the individual. I had 3,500 transplants which took about 5 hours which was probably my threshold. It can be boring just lying there, but I had my music so it wasn’t too bad.
I chose the clinic from my discussions with other guys and their experiences. From the moment from the airport pickup, the hotel stay, treatment to after care, I found it all very professional. The English barrier may be a little frustrating, but at the end of the day, they got the job done very professionally and with the minimum of fuss.
I will be back to get the back of my head finished, which tells a lot about the experience and I will definitely recommend to my friends.
