I had an FUE hair transplant 4 days ago, 4800 grafts were extracted from the back of my head and transplanted on the front, top and the hairline. The operation time was 8 hours from 08:30 to 16:30.
The blood test was done 12 hours before the operation, on the next morning I went to the clinic where I met Dr Rawad and Mr Mulham who explained what will be going before, throughout and after the operation, they also answered all my questions.
The nurses started by shaving my hair, then Dr Rawad did draw the new hairline to look like natural and he again told me about the main three stages of the operation: Local anesthesia, Grafts extraction from the donor area, and Transplanting the extracted grafts into the baldness areas. The hardest part was the local anesthesia of the donor area (trust me it is painful, but yet bearable).
The nurses Emine and Kubra were very skilled, responsive and gentle. On top of that they managed to teach me some Turkish words, teşekkür ederim 🙂
After the operation I was given the the medicine and exact instructions. Thankfully there was no pain at all.
On the next day I went to remove the bandage. I supposed to go back for the last time 2 days after the surgery to wash up my head but because it was Sunday I had to do it myself (Mr Mulham explained it exactly, and it is detailed a printed document) after arriving back to England.
So far everything is perfect and the scars are healing remarkably.

First of all I would like to thank Mr Mulham for his efforts which made my experience great, and my dream comes true. From the very first day I contacted him (early February), after reading the excellent reviews of Clinicana, he made his very best to answer my questions, assure my worries and give the best advices. He also welcomed my wife to join me without any extra charges. The Marti hotel where we stayed for 3 night is just fabulous, very near, 5-stars hotel.
Dr Rawad gave me his initial consultation after seeing the pictures of the donor area, he really surprised me when he said we can transplant between 4400 – 4800 grafts (before that and out of my reading on the internet I thought they will be between 3000 – 3500 grafts only).
Abdallah, the driver who transferred me from/to the airport, is very nice and lovely guy, he gave me the best advices about Istanbul sightseeing and some other useful stuff. All the staff in Clinicana were really nice and easygoing.
I highly recommend Clinicana because of the excellent quality, remarkable services for reasonable price.
If I had to do this operation again, 100% I would chose Clinicana without a second thought 🙂
