Do I have to shave my head completely before the hair transplant procedure?

Please do not shave your hair before the operation as we would like to see the density of your hair and the direction in which it grows.

Since the hair implant will take place in one specific area (front line, golf courses or vertex) we don’t have to shave or remove all of the hair from your head.  Only the donor area will be shaved.

However, it would be advisable to shave or remove all of the hair from your head so that our medical staff can perform the operation as carefully and as easily as possible.

It is also more hygenic after the operation.

Lastly, shaving off all of your hair before the operation reduces the amount of side effects such as itchiness, etc, after the operation.
