Should I use minoxidil after the hair transplant?
Minoxidil (5%) spray or foam can be used in almost all patients to help increase the density of hair especially on the crown because blood circulation on the crown of your head is weaker than on other parts of your scalp. We highly recommend that clients use Minoxidil if they do not want to lose existing hair. If you use Minoxidil longterm the low density areas in the transplanted area will become denser with time. While applying Minoxidil daily to the scalp please rub it in and massage it gently onto your scalp making sure not to use your nails.
The medical team will guide you on this subject if necessary.
