My receding hairline became more evident as i approached 50. It was not a big deal really but I know I look better with hair and so started my search. I asked friends who had searched before or had considered having it done and discovered the best medical support, cost and professionalism seemed to come from Turkey. WhatClinic pointed me towards several service providers in Turkey but the one that stood out for me was Clinicana. They engaged with me on a very personal level and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. They gave realistic expectations and I really appreciated their honesty. It made my decision to travel that much easier once we built a relationship based on trust. For people who know me I am not quick to trust!
From the minute I arrived in Clinicana I was greeted with courtesy, support and professionalism. The team are well coordinated and and happy to fit in with my schedule. I had my bloods done on Saturday which is normally a day off but the team were there to support me. On the day of the surgery they were calm and warm and professional and each person did their job with a delicate hand. I was well warned about the 5 minutes of pain when the initial injections were applied. This was very uncomfortable but 5 minutes of pain seems worth having a head of hair for the rest of my life.
They extracted 3700 grafts and covered the maximum area possible. The process took 6 hours which is a long time but again well worth the outcome. I was a little worried about the language barrier but was surprised that the team were well able to communicate with me. The senior staff have excellent English and the rest of the team are eager to communicate if you give them the time.
The follow up today was again gentle and professional. It is only the start but I am delighted with the result. I highly recommend Clinicana to anyone who is thinking about taking this step. I am delighted I did this and I definitely picked the right clinic for me.
Number one was trust. They answered all my questions frankly and honestly, they did not make any false promises and seemed genuinely keen to give me what I wanted.
First and overall impression is professional, coordinated, skilled and friendly.
