What is the DHI hair transplant technique?
For the DHI technique the first stage is the same as the initial stage in the FUE technique. The second and third stage as mentioned above are combined in the DHI technique. A special pen called a Choi implanter simultaneously opens the channel and injects the hair follicle into the scalp.
The method that will be used on the patient depends on the results of the consultation with the hair transplant professional. As such it varies from one patient to another and depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to the type of baldness, number of grafts, quality of the grafts, the thickness of the grafts, skin elasticity, previous operations, etc.
