What is the Micro-FUE hair transplant method?
The Micro-FUE hair transplant method is a process or procedure that is used to extract extra grafts from the donor area. In the normal FUE hair transplant method the extracted grafts are extracted with some extra skin from the scalp. However, during the micro-FUE method the head of the punch will be chosen by the plastic surgeon and during this procedure more grafts are extracted per square centimeter and less skin. As a result, we will be able to transplant more grafts to the bald area per square centimeter if we use the micro-FUE method.
Another advantage of the micro-FUE method is that the healing time is less and the hair density of the donor area (back side of the head) regarding hair re-growth or hair coverage after the operation will be greater compared to the normal FUE method.
