Hair transplant in Turkey: Reviews

I chose Clinicana based on positive online reviews, and also being able to speak on the phone to a couple of guys from the UK who had already visited.
I had FUE treatment for a receding hairline, a thinning crown. and a thin patch just in front of my left ear.
I’m now a year on since the treatment, and would happily recommend it to others.
It’s definitely good value for money – you pay an agreed price for your treatment, regardless of the actual number of grafts that end up being required, whereas in the UK you have to pay per graft. The price for the hair transplant, hotels and flights came to about a fifth of what it would have cost me in the UK 🙂

You’ve really got to be patient in waiting for your results, I’m afraid!
After the initial elation of seeing my new hairline just after the operation, there was quite a barren period between weeks 3-10, when the transplanted hair temporarily shed, and I was longing like crazy to see some new growth!
It did eventually start growing back at around week 10, but I had to wait till about 6-7 months down to line to feel like I was getting some kind of a result.

I definitely recommend taking a week off work after the operation – I wasn’t really in pain, but my face was quite swollen and I ended up with a full on black eye, because of the anaesthetic. Plus, it takes about 10 days for the grafts to become fully secure, so if you get some kind of scrape during that time, you could potentially lose some.

Anyway, 1 year on I feel that it was definitely worth doing, and overall things have improved. In all honesty, there’s some room for improvement – my trasnplanted hair is a little lacking in density and perhaps not fully up to speed yet, but there are many online comments about it taking anything up to 18 months to see a full result. Hopefully I’ll return then to give a definitive review. I’m particularly pleased that Clinicana were willing to address the thin patch in front of my left ear – it had been that way for years, even before my main hairline started receding. As you can hopefully see from the photos, that has been a definite improvement.

I underwent hair transplant surgery. I have been losing hair for years and the anterior portion of my scalp was nearly bald. I suppose anybody wanting to look a few years younger can try this form of treatment. Its a pain free day-care procedure by an experienced team. I think the pricing of Clinicana was very reasonable.

From the day i sent my inquiry online the team has been following up with me promptly. All my queries were answered satisfactorily and i was given a detailed description of what is going to happen and the preparation required. I received a very warm welcome at the hospital and was treated with utmost care and respect. The procedure it self was well planned and everything went smooth. The hospital appears world class and i suppose its one of the best in Istanbul.

Excellent staff and clinic, I had hair transplant before in other clinic but was not successful. I feel really happy and totally satisfied. I make beard transplant now and everything was well arranged. I checked several clinics online but finally I chose this clinic based on he quick professional realistic response I got from them when I send them online questions. I also received several call from clinics but I found them more professional.

The whole experience really did go as advertised from start to finish. the hotel is very near and the transfers good arranged. The clinic is very clean and professional . Some of my friends are also going after I explained my excellent experience. And they have seen my change. I recommend every one who needs hair transplant to do it in Clinicana.

I had a back and top of the head and front line transplant. The comparison between quality and price it was good at first, but after doing it it’s even better. I’d recommend it undoubtedly to anyone.

The clinic is very high standard, and the members of staff are the most kind and helpful. They were able to organised my operation despite this was decide in a rush, the following day I took the decision they received me and made the operation the day after. There is always someone who speak English near, so you can communicate any need you had at any time. The number of grafts transplanted were even more than the amount we talked about at the first time, so I’m very happy with the result, impatient to see my hair grow.

The number of gratfs has been even higher than what we firstly estimated would be, so I’m very happy with the result, impatient to see my hair grow now.

It was a long way to travel from Australia but it was well worth it. The FUE treatment at Clinicana was first class, from the moment I was picked up at the airport.The doctors and nurses were very professional to ensure it was a smooth procedure. They were able to remove enough grafts to treat all areas lost on the front of my head and the crown.
I would recommend Clinicana to my friends and family over in Australia, it’s definitely been a long way to travel but I wouldn’t have it any other way due to the better technology and lower procedure costs compared to back home in Australia.
