Am a nearly 60 year old American who began experiencing hair loss in my early 20s while living overseas and I mentioned to my wife over the years about regaining my hair. She began researching various options in the USA, Dubai, India, etc but came upon Clinicana in Istanbul, Turkey and conducted some more research and we decided to go to Istanbul on our way home from Africa.

Upon arrival we were greeted at the airport and immediately brought to the hospital for blood work which only took a few minutes then brought to the nearby hotel before going to the hospital the next afternoon.

After 30 years + of baldness I still needed some more convincing so met face-to-face with the doctor who talked me through the good and bad of the procedure and gave me an honest assessment that my bald spot was too large to cover totally. With all the information in hand and seeing how professional everyone acted I decided to go through with the procedure which lasted about 5.5 hours in my case. The next day I came back for a check and had some plasma injected under the skin and was cleaned and fitted with a hat for the day. The final day I was again examined and had my scalp cleaned and shown how to care for the transplant for the coming days, weeks and months to achieve the best results.

Financially the value was certainly better than anywhere we found which included staying at a four star hotel near to the hospital where the staff treated us with equally excellent care. Professionally, all of the staff at Clinicana were honest and warm and we even had our four year old son along who the staff treated as a small prince!

As mentioned above we did a lot of research and found Clinicana the best value for the money.

Very clean, warm and professional especially after dealing with American medical facilities which seem to place money way ahead of the patient!

I did hair transplant two days ago and I got 5000 grafts, 1000 more than they said when saw the pictures, so I am very happy. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have the hair back. And here better than in Spain, because I have been doing a lot of research and this is the most reliable I have found. It was a good value for sure.

I did FUE Hair Transplant for around 3000 grafts for my hair line re-design. The whole process was smooth and completely painless(except the anesthetic injection is a bit pain but still tolerable). Medical team are really professional and friendly. I also did PRP treatment twice for my hairtransplant. One before the surgery, one after two days come back for the 1st hair wash.

Personally I would highly recommend this treatment at clinicana.

The whole experince with Clinicana was fantastic. I didn't do many reserch before coming, I choose Clinicana is because I saw the video on youtube, it clearly shows the whole journey you might have with clinicana for hair transplant operation. And I was so luck to find out that I was so right to choose clinicana. When I first visit to the hospital I was so impressed by its design, cleaness and staff. It is so not like a hospital, more like a brand new boutique hotel and I loved it.

The staff here are super helpful and friendly. I was in touch with Mr. Mulham all the time before coming to Istanbul through whatsapp, my trip was not confirmed until last second due to my work schedule, and then I asked Mr. Mulham to arrange my operation appoinment just in 5 days. He really managed well. Everything was arranged before I arrive IST.

I did hair transplant with FUE method in Clinicana yesterday. After long time thinking about it I finally decided to come when I got the right time (and the money of course). I had investigated before but because the techiniques didn't convince me and, of course, because the expensive prices I couldn't do it. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend, even to my brother, who is actually saving money to come! :)

I had my hair transplant surgery on 21st Dec 2015 and wrote a review upon my return to the clinic on 23rd Dec 2015 (See Terence Dubai).

The purpose of this review is to give you guys an update on the journey and results over the past 6 months.

24 hours after the surgery your head will be swollen slightly and look a bit scary. This starts to look OK after 48 hours so don't panic! In fact the healing was very quick and I took some pics each day during the first month and then monthly to evaluate the improvements.

The secret to success seems to be pretty simple: "Just follow the clinics post op instructions" they are pretty simple but make sure you don't damage the implants. I was warned to expect a percentage of hair fall but that didn't happen. Because of my hair colour (white) and my skin colour (pale) the redness where the extractions were taken remained red for about 8 weeks, but gradually faded. After 3 months I had strong growth with very little hair fall but kept my hair super short to avoid it pulling or getting caught in anything. Month 4 people started to realise that my hair looked stronger. Month 5 people started to comment on the strength of the hair. Month 6 I had my first haircut. This may seem silly but starting to look at hair style options (other than shaved) was a nice bonus.

Right now I have strong growth where the extracts were taken with no redness and no gaps. No one would even know the hair was taken. The implanted area (top and front) is strong and growing well with no gaps and no redness (unlike the fraggle fluff that was there).

I will update you guys in another 6 months but I am delighted that I took this step and am very happy with the results. Overall a great experience and I have what I wanted at last.

Actually Its an pleasant experience with Clinicana. First of all i have to thank the Doctors and Nursers who treated me with lots of care they handled very gently during all over the surgery where could i able to feel less in pain. Clinicana its a clinic with so neat and clean environment with holding the latest technology especially for Hair Transplantation they Come up with the latest technology of FUE method which is really an awesome way to do the hair transplantation to achieve 100% of success. I have had a very good experience. I began to lose hair when I was 18 years old so I decided to carry out this treatment now that I am 24. I went to Istanbul for 4 days. I was in a hotel provided by Clinicana that was quite good and confortable. The beginning of the treatment consisted of spend 6 hours in the surgery. At the beginning was a bit painful, but once the anaesthetic is applied the pain disappears.
I think that the final result is worth it, although the next day to the surgery is painful.

The reason why I decided this clinic is because a friend of mine recommend me this. Actually I did not compare with any other clinic since he showed me the results and he was happy about it. About the people everyone tries to be kind with you and makes you feel confortable although sometimes is difficult to speak to them since some of the staff have a low level of english. However they provide you with a translator in case you need help.

The treatment itself was quite quick, although the level of pain that you may experience will vary from person to person. My experience with Clinicana was amazing! I'm from Brazil but I live and work in US, I was looking for an affordable but good quality clinic since in US you will pay around 12.000 dollars for a hair transplant...
After searching for a lot of clinics in Istanbul, i decided to go with Clinicana because of the quality of service and the attention that they gave to me on the first contact.
Everything that they told me by message was 100% accurate when I got here. They extracted 4100 grafts and covered my entire front area, I still need more 1500 grafts for my crown but I'll decide if I'll work on that later.
The Hospital is super clean and new and the hotel (Naz City) is awesome.
Every single person at Clinicana is super friendly and they make you feel comfortable especially being in another country with a different culture.

I had a hair transplant. It has now been 7 months since the operation. I am extremely happy with my progress. Particularly at the front. The hair further back is less advanced but this, I believe is the norm I am told I will probably still grow more at the front but as it is, I am very happy.
I would certainly recommend the operation to friends.It is extremely good value.

because i had an early transplant before 4 years and the result was not good,i came to this clinic and the hospitality was amazing and about treatment it was what iam looking for ,the operation was in FUE technique which difference from my old one which covered more area than FUT . and it was easier also because there is no scar and no itches.

I had a hair transplant due to an accident with hot water. The operation was not painful and i had no pain after that. My case was special and they did a great job. I see many people here with frontal hair transplant and they are very happy with the operation.
